MARY (TOMASIK) GOLOMB

GOLOMB, MARY (TOMASIK) 77, of Beaulieu Ave., Coventry, passed on Sunday, February 11, 2018 surrounded by her loving family, in Rancho Mirage, CA. She was the wife of Chester Golomb. They would have celebrated 56 years of marriage on May 19, 2018. Born in West Warwick, she was a daughter of the late Walter and Mary (Tomczak) Tomasik.

Mary was a certified nurse assistant employed at Eleanor Slater Medical Center before retiring in 2005. Mary graduated from West Warwick High School class of 1958. Mary was a dedicated parishioner of Our Lady of Czenstochowa Church. Mary, her husband, and daughter Susan provided the music ministry at the Church for countless Masses, Weddings and Funerals. Mary belonged to the Polish National Alliance.

Mary was the mother of Wanda Karls of Palm Desert, CA and Susan Stabile and her husband Dr. Louis Stabile, MD of Rancho Mirage, CA. She was the grandmother of Michael Karls, Brittany Karls, Daniel Stabile, and David Stabile. Mary was the sister of Wanda Casey, Stella Tetreault, Hedy Jordan, and the late Edna Leighton and Helen Kowal.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be on Saturday, May 19, 2018 at 10 am in Our Lady of Czenstochowa Church, 445 Washington St., Coventry, RI 02816. Inurnment at the RI Veterans Memorial Cemetery, Exeter. In lieu of flowers, donations to the General Maintenance Fund at Our Lady of Czenstochowa Church will be appreciated. Arrangements by Iannotti Funeral Home, Coventry.
