MATTHEW AGIN Obituary

AGIN, Matthew E., 52, of Windsor Park Dr., passed away at home with his caring friends by his side on Monday, April 30, 2018.

Born in Warwick, he was the son of Edward J. Agin and his wife Elizabeth of Cornville, ME and the late Catherine (Joubert) Parent.

Matthew was a very well known shell fisherman out of East Greenwich for many years.  He was also a Rigging Supervisor at Senesco Marine out of North Kingstown for 13 years. He loved his job.  He used to always say “ He was a big kid who never had to leave the sand box “.  He retired from there in 2012 due to his illness.

His is survived by three sisters, Dolores Gagnon  and family of Cornville, ME, Ann Marie Stedman of Vero Beach, FL and Mary King of Port St. Lucie, FL; nieces and nephews, Phillip Derocher of West Warwick, Catherine Tranberg and family of Madison, ME, Lindsey Stedman of Vero Beach, FL, Shawn Stedman of Sebring, FL and Luke King of Port St. Lucie, FL; great niece and great nephew, Viviana and Anthony Tranberg of Madison, ME and his dear friend and caregiver Rebecca Denton.

Visitation will be held Saturday, May 12, 2018 from 2:00 – 4:00 pm in the IANNOTTI Funeral Home, 415 Washington St. (Rte.117), Coventry.  Burial will be private.  In lieu of flowers, donations made to the Rhode Island Dream Center, 744 Park Avenue, Suite 2, Cranston, RI 02910 would be appreciated.
