MICHELLE L. NARCISI

NARCISI, Michelle L. (Mouchon), 45, of Tomaquag Rd., passed away on Sunday, October 27, 2013 at Westerly Hospital. She was the beloved wife of 19 years to Metro A. Narcisi III.

Born in Warwick, she was a daughter of the late Michael C. and Isabelle A. (Collier) Mouchon.

Michelle, a nanny and child care worker for many years, also worked at Apex Department Store and Newport Grand. She battled breast cancer since 1998 and through her amazing fight, graduated CCRI (Summa Cum Laude, Phi Theta Kappa International Honor Society) and worked as a teacher assistant. In addition, she was an avid writer of children's books and a restaurant and food connoisseur.

Michelle's 16 year battle would not be possible without the great care and support she received from many, including: Dr. Robert Legare (oncologist) and the amazing team of doctors, nurses and support staff at the Woman and Infant's Breast Health Center (Providence and Westerly); CVS Pharmacy Richmond; Walgreens Infusion Care; Home and Hospice Care of New England; West Warwick High School; and her incredible support team of Lisa and Rob Minicucci, Vinny and Michelle Narcisi, Frank and Joanne Rossi, Paula Wolf, and Lucille Mota-Costa.

Besides her husband, she leaves a sister, Paulette Labrie of Foster; a brother-in-law, Vincent Narcisi and his wife Michelle of Kingsland, GA; a sister-in-law, Lisa Minicucci and her husband Robert of West Warwick and her nieces and nephews, Ashley Labrie, Alexis Minicucci, Michael Narcisi and Joshua Narcisi; and her "babies" Abbie and Ebu.

Her Funeral will be held Saturday at 8:15 am from the IANNOTTI Funeral Home, 415 Washington St. (Rte.117), Coventry, with a Mass of Christian Burial at 10:00 am in Immaculate Conception Church, 111 High St., Westerly. Interment will follow in St. Joseph Cemetery, West Greenwich. Visiting hours Friday 3-7 pm. In lieu of flowers, donations in Michelle's name made to: Woman and Infants Hospital, c/o Development Foundation, 101 Dudley St., Providence, RI 02905 would be appreciated. Memorial gifts will support The Program in Woman's Oncology and Breast Cancer Research.
