NANCY G. (HARROP) CLARK

CLARK, NANCY G. (HARROP), of Coventry, “We regret to announce” her passing on Thursday, January 17, 2019, in her 90^th  year. She was predeceased by her beloved husband of 54 years, Harry J. Clark in 2011. Born in West Warwick, she was a daughter of the late John A. and Alicia (Russell) Harrop and the sister of the late Barbara H. Harrington. 

Nancy taught 3^rd  grade in the West Warwick School System for 43 years before retiring. She remained a faithful member of both Saints Peter & Paul Church in West Warwick and Saint Andrews Church in Coral Springs, Florida where Nancy and Harry wintered for many years.

Nancy was a generous and caring person who loved her family, enjoyed travel, watching sports and was especially a fan of the Boston Red Sox and the New England Patriots.  She took pleasure in watching M*A*S*H reruns, and loved to dress up to go out for dinner.

She was the aunt of Thomas P. Harrington and his wife Maureen of Calabogie, Canada, and Anne M. Hipwell and her husband Steve of McKean, PA. Nancy was the godmother of the late John W. Harrington and his late wife Jayne Harrington. Nancy is also survived by several great nieces and great nephews. 

A Visiting hour will be Wednesday morning, January 23, 2019 from 8:30 am to 9:30 am in the IANNOTTI Funeral Home, 415 Washington St., (Rte.117) Coventry, with a Mass of Christian Burial at 10:00 am in Saints Peter & Paul Church, 48 Highland St., West Warwick, RI 02893. Interment at Saint Mary Cemetery, West Warwick. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations to Saints Peter & Paul Church would be appreciated.
