RAYMOND C. DAVIS

DAVIS, Raymond C., of St. Petersburg, FL, passed away on Tuesday, July 31, 2018 in St. Petersburg, FL.  He is the companion of Dawn Demers and former husband of Lori R. Davis.

Born in Providence RI, he was the son of Janet (Raybert) Davis and the late Raymond T. Davis.

A graduate of Saint Raphael’s Academy and The University of Rhode Island, Ray worked as a Chef for several country clubs and restaurants in Rhode Island and Massachusetts. He was a Quality Manager at Hasbro for more than 15 years and a Project Manager with MetLife for 15 years.

Ray loved his New England Patriots and as many of our neighbors can attest he would get very animated cheering them on during the games. Another of Ray’s passions was giving his time to others. Ray was a Den leader for his son’s Boy Scout Troop in Coventry, RI and a former volunteer and Board Member for Junior Achievement of RI for more than 30 years.

Ray also enjoyed playing HI LOW JACK with his family and friends and was renowned for bidding 4 and leading out with a 9. 

He is also survived by two children, Kayla A. Davis and Raymond S. Davis, both of Warwick and a brother, Glenn Davis of Bristol.

Visitation will be held Tuesday, August 28, 2018 from 4:00 – 7:00 pm in the IANNOTTI Funeral Home, 415 Washington St., (Rte.117), Coventry, with a Funeral Service to follow at 7:00 pm.  Burial will be private.  In lieu of flowers, your support of Junior Achievement of Rhode Island (www.JARhodeIsland.org), 57 Greene Street, Warwick RI 02886 would be appreciated.
