RAYMOND R. MUSZYNSKI

MUSZYNSKI, RAYMOND R., 78, of Lear Drive, Coventry, passed away on Saturday, March 2, 2019 at Kent Hospital. Raymond was the husband of Jeanne A. (Vadnais) Muszynski for 46 years. Born in West Warwick, he was a son of the late Raymond J. and Irene (Metivier) Muszynski. 

Ray was a letter carrier for the United States Postal Service for 30 years. After his retirement, he worked as a security guard for Wackenhut Security and privately throughout the state of Rhode Island. He served his Country for over 20 years in both the United States Army and the US Air National Guard.

As an avid firearm enthusiast, Ray was a lifelong member of the National Rifle Association. Ray was also a fan of the Boston Red Sox and New England Patriots.

Raymond is survived by his children, Tamra Townsend, Laurel McGlinchey, Tracey Jalbert, and Raymond Muszynski Jr.; 9 grandchildren and 4 great-grandchildren. He was the brother of Ronald Muszynski of Fountain Valley, CA.

Visitation will be Thursday, March 7, 2019 from 11:00 am - 12:30 pm at the IANNOTTI Funeral Home, 415 Washington St., (Rte.117) Coventry, with a funeral service to follow at 12:30 pm. Interment with military honors at St. Joseph’s Cemetery, West Greenwich.
