ROBERT JAMES HARTMAN

HARTMAN, ROBERT J., 77, of Irving Rd., Warwick, passed at RI Hospital, surrounded by his loving family, on Wednesday, September 5, 2018. He was the husband of Palma D. “Pam” (Meleo) Hartman. The couple would have celebrated 58 years of marriage on October 18, 2018. Born in Providence, he was a son of the late Richard and Louise (Newman) Hartman.

Robert was the proprietor of the R & R Imperial Board, Inc. for many years before retiring. He enjoyed spending time with his family and grandchildren. 

He was the father of Robin A. Colombo and her husband David of North Kingstown, and Denise A. Place and her husband William of Saunderstown. He was the grandfather of Angela and Gabrielle Place and David John Colombo Jr. Robert was the brother of Richard Hartman of Warwick and Ann Manzi of Cranston. He also leaves a dear friend Benny Tulli.

At Robert’s request, his funeral services will be private.  Arrangements by Iannotti Funeral Home, Coventry.
