KMON Sr., Robert J., 51, of Woodland Dr., passed away surrounded by his loving family on Friday, November 10, 2017 at the Philip Hulitar Hospice Center in Providence. He was the beloved husband of 20 years to Lory A. (Walsh) Kmon.
Born in Cranston, he was a son of the late James and Joan (Beauchamp) Kmon.
Robert was a pressman for many years at various newspapers companies. He loved music and was known for always having a camcorder in his hand when he was watching bands play.
Besides his wife, he leaves son, Robert J. Kmon II; two daughters, Sarah Beth Kmon and Amanda Kezirian; two brothers, Ernest and Denny Kmon; a sister, Katherine Kmon; his biological father, Ernest Studley of Florida and his devoted caregiver, Erin McLaughlin.
His Funeral Service will be held Tuesday at 10:00 am in the Quidnick Baptist Church, Coventry. Inurnment will follow in Highland Memorial Park, Johnston. Visiting hours will be held Monday from 6-8 pm in the Quidnick Baptist Church, 484 Fairview Ave., Coventry, RI. In lieu of flowers, donations in Roberts memory to Lory A.
