Robert (Bob) P. Ostrover (KB1ENB), formerly of Trumbull, CT, passed away at home on September 20, 2019, following a prolonged illness. Bob is survived by his wife Candy Ostrover, whom he adored, and children Ian Ostrover, David Ostrover, Sherry Steinbach and Tracy Hermann along with their families. Bob was extremely proud to have been the Vice President of The American Fabrics Company in Bridgeport, CT, a business his father founded. Bob was lifelong prankster, often opining that his life was evidence of God’s sense of humor. When asked a question, Bob would frequently answer “4, the answer is always 4.” Bob was known to wear a red clown nose while driving, simply to amuse passersby’s. In fact, a red clown nose was one of the last gifts he ever gave his granddaughter, Maya. Bob loved dogs and since all dog’s go to heaven, there will be quite a crowd waiting for his arrival. Bob was an avid gun collector and ham radio operator. To that end, “KB1ENB Kilowatt Bravo 1 Echo Nancy Bravo signing off.”
