ROLAND WILLIAM GINGELL III

GINGELL III, ROLAND W., 64 of Richmond, passed on Thursday, June 14, 2018, surrounded by his loving family. He was the husband of Pat A. (Cirilo) Gingell. Born in Charleston, SC, he was a son of the late Roland W. Gingell Jr. and Rochelle V. (Scott) Gingell. Roland was the stepson of Claire Gingell.  He was the father of Brenda L. Fonseca and her husband Vincent and Alicia J. Maxey. He was the brother of Michelle Mercer, Alan Gingell, and stepbrother of Darlene Saraiva and Donna Rogler. He was the doting grandfather of Evelyn, Vincent and Meredith.

Roland was an expert in the HVAC industry before retiring. He enjoyed fishing, hunting, motorcycle riding, and to fire-up his infamous BBQ pit smoker.

Visiting hours will be Friday, June 22, 2018 from 9 am to 11 am with a Memorial Service at 11 am in the IANNOTTI Funeral Home, 415 Washington St., (Rte. 117) Coventry. Interment with military honors at the RI Veterans Memorial Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to www.woundedwarriors.org.
