WARNER Jr., Roswell W. “Ozzie”, 84, of Hope Rd., passed away on Sunday, April 22, 2018 at the Philip Hulitar Hospice Center in Providence. He was the beloved husband of 65 years to Gloria (Colvin) Warner.
Born in Providence, he was a son of the late Roswell W. Warner Sr. and the late Doris (Perry) Brown.
Ozzie was a loving husband, father and grandfather. He was the original owner of R.W. Warner Moving and Trucking from 1959 - 2009 when he retired.
Besides his wife, he leaves his loving children, Sheryl Warner Gadoury and her husband Robert of Coventry and Roswell “Sam” Warner and his wife Diane of Berlin, NH; two grandchildren, David Blanding and his wife Michelle and Joshua Warner and his fiancé Kelsey Giusti, all of Fiskeville, RI; a brother, Roswell “Russ” Warner of Warwick; a sister, Ellen Antonelli of North Providence; a step-sister, Joan Call of Coventry and many nieces and nephews. He was a brother of the late Marion Crowley and Helen Matteau Crisona.
Visitation will be held Friday evening from 5 – 8 pm in the IANNOTTI Funeral Home, 415 Washington St. (Rte.117), Coventry, with a Funeral Service to follow at 8:00 pm. Burial will be private.
