SAMUEL MILLER Obituary

MILLER, SAMUEL R. “SAM”, 54, of Wesleyan Ave, passed away with his loving wife by his side on Wednesday, January 8, 2020 at Brigham and Women’s Hospital. He was the husband of Jennifer (Counts) Miller of 21 years. Born in Warwick, he was a son of the late Charles and Jacqueline (Lemoi) Miller.

Before his illness, Sam was a Meat Cutter for Dave’s Market in Wickford. He loved Heavy Metal music, especially the bands Iron Maiden and Lizzy Borden. Sam’s singing voice and colorful vocabulary were only two of his outstanding personality traits. He was an avid concert goer and recognized fan; but his favorite times were spent in the company of his family. Not only was Sam loved by many of his customers at the market, but also the nursing staff at the RIH Cancer Treatment Center, Brigham and Women’s Hospital, and the Dana Farber Hospital; many of who supported Jennifer and visited Sam in his final hours.

Besides his wife, Sam is survived by his daughters; Brittany Miller, Kaleigh Miller, Sarah Miller, and Emma Miller; brother of Lisa Flynn (Ronald), and Raymond Miller (Lisa).
