SANDRA L. (DOUGHTY) SILVERMAN

SILVERMAN, SANDRA L. (DOUGHTY), 77, of Whittier Drive, Coventry, passed away on Wednesday, January 1, 2020. She was the wife of Douglas F. Silverman for 54 years. Born in Fort Fairfield, Maine, she was a daughter of the late Clarence E. Doughty Sr. and Pauline M. (Dorsey) Doughty.

Sandra had been employed as a nurse assistant at Kent Hospital before retiring.

She was the mother of David Silverman and his wife Felice of Arlington, MA., and Steven Silverman and his wife Lee of North Providence. Sandra was the grandmother of Luke and Lacey Silverman. She was the sister of Verle Martin of Orlando, Florida, Kenneth E. Doughty of Anchorage, Alaska, Thomas W. Doughty of Hartsville, South Carolina, and the late Alice Kingsbury, Elizabeth Liberty Hewey, Dorothy J. Hatfield, Clarence E. Doughty Jr., and Philip H. Doughty.

Visiting hours will be Saturday, February 1, 2020 from 12:00 PM to 1:30 PM with a Memorial Service at 1:30 PM in the Iannotti Funeral Home at MAPLE ROOT, 2000 Nooseneck Hill Rd., (Rte.3) Coventry. A Memorial reception and Celebration of Sandra’s life will follow at the Olde Theater Diner, 33 Sandy Bottom Rd., Coventry, RI.
