SCOTT EDGAR BROUILLARD

BROUILLARD, SCOTT E., 54, of Johnson Blvd., Coventry, passed unexpectedly at home, on Thursday, July 12, 2018. He was a son of Edgar J. and Veronica (Gendron) Brouillard of Coventry. Scott was the companion of the late Tina M. Liberato.

Scott was a 1982, graduate of Bishop Henricken High School. After working for various carpenters he was hired as project manager for Highland Builders in Massachusetts until it was dissolved. Subsequently he started his own carpentry business specializing in problem solving, renovations and repairs.

He was an accomplished musician both in voice and the keyboard. Also he had been in the Young Peoples Symphony of Rhode Island playing the trumpet. He later started his own band “White Lies” which met with success as the introductory band to other more renown ones.

Scott was an avid bass fisherman seeking to catch and release the big one. He did succeed in that endeavor by taking a 9 lb. bass. 

Another of his avocations was cooking.

His endearing personality and laid back dry wit endeared him to many friends. He will indeed be sorely missed by them and his loving family.

He was the brother of Michel Brouillard and his wife Clara, Danielle Brouillard, Alan Benoit, Lisa Cano, Lori Pasquel, Tracy Resto and Glen Benoit. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be Friday, July 20, 2018 at 10:00 am in St. Vincent de Paul Church, 6 St. Vincent de Paul St., Coventry. Interment in St. Ann Cemetery, Cranston. Arrangements are with the IANNOTTI Funeral Home, Coventry, Visiting hours and flowers are respectfully omitted, Scott’s family request an act of kindness or a donation to your favorite charity would be appreciated.
