SHIRLEY C. (COURNOYER) SENERCHIA

SENERCHIA, SHIRLEY C. (COURNOYER) 79, of Foster Drive, Coventry, passed away at home on Tuesday, October 22, 2019. Born in Coventry, she was the daughter of the late Louis E. and Gladys M. (Grabbert) Cournoyer. Shirley was predeceased by her son Joseph Senerchia III in 1996.

Shirley graduated from Coventry High School in 1958. She went on to employment in the Coventry School System as a Secretary for over 40 years, before retiring in 2002. She also owned and operated the former R & N Flower Shop in West Warwick.

Shirley raised and raced thoroughbred greyhounds, many achieving top tier wins at the former Lincoln Downs venue.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be on Friday, October 25, 2019 at 11:00 am in Saints John & Paul Church, 341 South Main St., Coventry. Interment in Saint Mary Cemetery, West Warwick.
