TAILA-LYNN S. SYLVIA

SYLVIA, Taila-Lynn S.,15, of Stoney View Dr., passed away at home surrounded by her loving family on Saturday, November 24, 2018.  

Born in Providence, she was the beloved daughter of Kerri-Lynn Sylvia and Eric Fontaine (step-dad) of Cumberland and Joseph A. Nakopinski of Woonsocket.

Taila cared for and was loved by so many. She was a fighter who also had a heart of gold. Taila's spirit and energy was infectious. She was a beautiful soul inside & out. Her laugh was contagious, her smile was one in a million and will be shining down from heaven. She loved dance, music, her animals, and spending time with her family, especially her grandparents . Taila battled brain cancer for 3 long years, she is one of the strongest warriors we were blessed with. Some days were not as easy as others but she kept on with faith, hope and love.  Her journey is not over it has just changed course. She will be deeply missed and forever in our hearts.

Besides her parents, she leaves her maternal grandparents, Richard and Gail (Steere) Sylvia of West Warwick; two step-brothers, Corey and Andrew Fontaine and a step-sister, Alyssa Fontaine, all of North Attleboro.

Visitation will be held Tuesday, November 27, 2018 from 4:00 – 7:00 pm in the IANNOTTI Funeral Home, 415 Washington St. (Rte.117), Coventry.  Her Funeral Service and Burial will be private for the Family.  In lieu of flowers, donations to the Tomorrow Fund Clinic at Rhode Island Hospital, 593 Eddy St., Providence, RI 02903 would be appreciated.
