FARIAS, TOME, 86, of West Warwick, passed away peacefully with his family by his side at home on Monday, November 25th 2019.

Born on April 20th, 1933 in Sao Miguel, Azores.  He was the son of the late Joao and Maria Gloria (Pimentel) Farias. He was predeceased by brothers Joseph, John and Antonio Farias.

He was the beloved husband to Maria Gloria (Coelho) Farias for 64 years.

He enjoyed spending time with his family, fishing, gardening and watching western movies.

Besides his wife, he leaves 6 children, Amenda Silva and her husband Reggie, Gloria Melo and her husband Constantino,

Tom Farias Jr. and his wife Lori, Madelina St. Jean, Dennis Farias and his wife Kristine, Edwina O’Brien and her husband Tom

He also leaves many grandchildren, great grandchildren, nieces, nephews and friends.

Visiting hours are private at Iannotti Funeral Home, 415 Washington St., Coventry on Friday, November 29^th from 9:00 am to 10:30 am. Family and friends are invited to attend a Mass of Christian Burial at 11:00 am on Friday, November 29^th at St. Anthony’s Church located at 1 Sunset Ave in West Warwick. Burial will follow at St Mary’s Cemetery on Church Street in West Warwick.  In lieu of flowers, memorial donations to the St. Anthony’s Hope, 10 Sunset Ave., West Warwick, RI 02893 is appreciated.
