Obituary

SENERCHIA, VINCENZO A. “JIM”, 59, of Auburn St., West Warwick, passed unexpectedly at Kent Hospital on Saturday, September 7, 2019. He was the beloved husband of Jean C. (Judd) Senerchia for 40 years. Born in Warwick, he was a son of Vincenzo Senerchia of West Warwick, and the late Millicent T. Crossen.

 

Jim was a truck driver for the West Warwick Department of Public Works for over 25 years before retiring in 2006.

 

Jim enjoyed spending time with his grandchildren, especially playing “pick up” sports games with them; and the kids in the neighborhood. He was an avid reader and he also liked to work in his yard.

 

He was the father of Steven V. Senerchia and his wife Christi of Joplin, Missouri, and Jessica M. Shank and her husband Eric of Neosha, Missouri. He was the grandfather of Abigail Coutu, Alexander Coutu, Domenic Senerchia and Ryan Senerchia. He was the brother of Diane Ring, Daniel, Elizabeth, Michael, Melissa, and Crystal Senerchia.

 

At Jim’s request, his funeral services will be private. Memorial donations to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital ( www.stjude.org ) would be appreciated. Arrangements are with the Iannotti Funeral Home at MAPLE ROOT, Coventry. iannottifh.com
