ADA (PETRARCA) SENERCHIA

SENERCHIA, ADA (PETRARCA) 85, of Fairview Avenue, Coventry,  passed away at home surrounded by her loving family on Monday, August 19, 2024. She was the wife of Domenico Senerchia. The couple have been married for 65 years. Born in Fornelli, Italy, she was a daughter of the late Vincenzo and Maria Petrarca. 

Ada was a dedicated wife, mother and grandmother. She loved to garden, cook and care for her family. Ada had a strong Catholic faith and she was a faithful parishioner at Sacred Heart Church in Natick. Ada was employed for 20 years at the Original Bradford Soap Works in West Warwick. She previously worked at Natco Products Corporation for fifteen years.

She was the mother of Anthony A. “Tony” Senerchia, Esq. and his wife Karen of Coventry, Rosaria M. Senerchia of West Warwick, and Angela D. Ryan and her husband Timothy of Coventry. She was the grandmother of Anthony A. Senerchia Jr. Esq., Andrew D. Senerchia, Esq. and Hunter Ryan. Ada is also survived by great-grandsons Austin and Aiden Senerchia. She was the sister of Michelina Petrarca, Mario Petrarca, Domenica Santilli, Pietro Petrarca and Carmine Petrarca.

Relatives and friends are invited to Ada’s Mass of Christian Burial on Saturday, August 24, 2024 at 10:00 AM in Sacred Heart Church, 820 Providence St., West Warwick. Entombment in Our Risen Christ Garden Mausoleum at Saint Ann Cemetery in Cranston to follow.  In lieu of flowers, memorial donations to The American Heart Association, 1 State St. Unit 200, Providence, RI 02908 would be appreciated.
