CHAPDELAINE, ALBERT A., 87, of Hope, lost his battle with renal failure on Tuesday, January 14, 2020, at Kent Hospital. A life long resident of Coventry, he was a son of the late Oscar and Rose (Salvas) Chapdelaine.
Albert was employed with Local 251 as a heavy equipment operator, before retiring. He worked for Cardi Construction for over fifteen years. Albert previously worked for the former LaChance Enterprises. He was a US Army veteran of the Korean War.
Albert leaves behind three sons; John R. McHugh and his wife Deborah of Hope, Brian K. Chapdelaine and his wife Lisa of Coventry and David A. Chapdelaine also of Coventry. He was the grandfather to Jennifer McHugh, Megen Anton, Ariel Chapdelaine, Shana Stephens, and Dylan Chapdelaine. Albert was the great-papa to Asher Stephens. He was the brother of Norman Chapdelaine of Coventry, Rosemary Mouchon of Coventry, Pauline Puhacz of Connecticut, and Lucille Bean of Virginia.
Visiting hours will be Tuesday morning, January 21, 2020 from 8:30 am to 10:00 am in the Iannotti Funeral Home at MAPLE ROOT, 2000 Nooseneck Hill Rd., (Rte.3) Coventry, with a Mass of Christian Burial at 10:30 am in Saints John & Paul Church. Interment with military honors at the RI Veterans Memorial Cemetery in Exeter. iannottifh.com
