ALBERT J. HAJEC

HAJEC, ALBERT J.,  92, passed away peacefully with his son, Brian, by his bedside on Saturday, October 18, 2025 at Kent Hospital, Warwick. He was the loving husband of 62 years to the late Jeannette M. (Verrier) Hajec, who predeceased Albert in 2020.

Born in Coventry, he was a son of the late Sophie (Cyrilic) DeFosse. 

Albert proudly served his country in the United States Army before his Honorable Discharge. He then went on to spend his career at Cranston Printworks for over 3 decades.  

Father of Brian A. Hajec of West Warwick; Brother of the late Lorraine Elderkin. Albert is also survived by his dear in-laws, Chris and Leo Verrier and Paul and Carol Verrier. Albert is also survived by his loving nieces and nephews. 

Relatives and friends are invited to visiting hours on Tuesday, October 28, 2025 from 5:30 PM - 7:30 PM in the Iannotti Funeral Home, 415 Washington Street, Coventry, RI.

Burial with Military Funeral Honors at the Rhode Island Veterans Cemetery, Exeter is respectfully private.
