ALBERT P. RICCI

RICCI, ALBERT P., 84, of Ridge Street, passed away peacefully surrounded by his loving family on Thursday, April 27, 2023 at the HopeHealth Hulitar Hospice Center, Providence. He was the beloved husband of 49 years to the late Barbara A. (LaNinfa) Ricci who passed away June, 2012. 

Born in South Kingstown, he was a son of the late Erminio C. and Margaret R. (Di Orio) Ricci.

He was the loving father of Michael Ricci, his wife Jacqueline, of North Providence, and Michele Ricci of Providence. Grandfather of Jason G. Roman, Michael J. Ricci and Samantha Ricci. He was the brother of Carmella Comella, Annette Sousa and the late Clifford J. Ricci, and Angelo Ricci.  

In his free time, Al could be found in his garden tending to his tomatoes and herbs or in the kitchen cooking his favorite Italian meals for his family and friends. He was proud of his upbringing on Federal Hill in Providence. He will be remembered for his gentle disposition and the kindness he showed to all. 

Above all, there is peace in knowing he is reunited with his forever love, Barbara. 

Al’s family would like to acknowledge the exceptional care received from all of the ICU Staff at Miriam Hospital and the compassion shown from all at the HopeHealth Hulitar Hospice Center, Providence.  

A Visiting Hour will be held on Tuesday, May 2, 2023 from 9:00 AM - 10:15 AM in the Iannotti Funeral Home, 415 Washington Street (Route 117), Coventry, RI.  Mass of Christian burial at 11:00 AM at Church of the Holy Ghost, 472 Atwells Ave., Providence. Burial to follow in St. Ann’s Cemetery, Cranston. Arrangements by the Iannotti Funeral Home.
