ANDREA BOUCHER BROWN

ANDREA BOUCHER BROWN, of Hope Valley, passed away on Wednesday, July 1, 2026 following a 2 year battle with cancer.

Born in Providence, she was the daughter of the late Andrew L. and Barbara E. (Johnston) Boucher, of Coventry, Rhode Island. Andrea was the widow of Chris Brown from Warwick, RI, with whom she was married for 16 years, making their home in Hope Valley. She was predeceased by a sister, Michelle D. Boucher, and a brother, Mark A. Boucher. Andrea was the loving sister to Jacqueline M. Schofield, her husband, Daniel, of Coventry, RI. She was the loving auntie to Bethany C. Boucher, her husband, Nicholas Chalupa, and was a grand auntie to their son, Benjamin R. Chalupa from Cary, NC. She also leaves another endeared niece, Michelle S. Boucher, her fiancé, Michael Long, from Hillsborough, NC. After being widowed, Andrea spent many wonderful years with her beloved and devoted partner, David A. Brown of Pawcatuck, CT. Their dog, Mya, provided companionship, comfort and joy during the rough days.

Andrea was a 1970 graduate of St. Francis Xavier Academy in Providence. She then pursued a career in nursing at St. Joseph's Hospital School of Nursing, graduating in 1973. She then continued her studies at the University of Rl. She was employed by the Kent Hospital in Warwick for many years, in the ECCU and the ICU.

Andrea had a passion for decorating, antique hunting, cooking, reading and was a gifted knitter and quilter. She loved skiing "all over the place" and enjoyed many destination ski vacations with family and friends.

Funeral Services will be respectfully private and at the convenience of the family. Arrangements by the Robert A. lannotti Funeral Home, 415 Washington Street in Coventry. 

Contributions in Andrea's memory may be made to one's local animal shelter / rescue or to the American Cancer Society.
