BRYANT, ARTHUR J., 94, of West Warwick, passed away on Thursday, December 5, 2024 at Roger Williams Hospital, Providence. Arthur is survived by his loving wife of 71 years, Theresa (Bourgault) Bryant.
Born in West Warwick, Arthur was a son of the late George S. and Mary R. (Sylvia) Bryant.
Arthur proudly served his country in the United States Army during the Korean War, where he was awarded the Army of Occupation Medal for his service in Japan. After his Honorable Discharge, Arthur spent his career in the manufacturing industry. First working at the Westover Mill in West Warwick, then at P.V. Dyes, and finally Stanley-Bostitch, North Kingstown, from where Arthur retired. He was a proud member of the Korean War Veterans Association, West Warwick Elks Lodge #1697, American Legion Post 2, the Phenix Sportsmen's Club, and the American Association of Retired Persons.
Besides his beloved wife, Theresa, Arthur is survived by loving nieces, nephews, and lifelong friends, Diane Belanger and her late husband, Richard “Dick” Belanger, and their daughter Debra; dear neighbor, Linda Costa. He was the brother of the late John, George, and Arthur Bryant, Pauline Vermette, and Mary Northup.
Arthur’s Funeral will be held Wednesday, December 11, 2024 at 8:45 AM in the Iannotti Funeral Home, 415 Washington Street (Route 117), Coventry. Mass of Christian Burial at 10:00 AM in Our Lady of Czenstochowa Church, 445 Washington St., Coventry. Interment with committal prayers and Military Funeral Honors to follow at St. Joseph’s Cemetery, West Greenwich. Visiting Hours, Tuesday, 4:00 PM - 7:00 PM. Arrangements by the Iannotti Funeral Home.
