AUDRIA C. GIARRAPUTO

GIARRAPUTO, AUDRIA C., 47, of Coventry, passed away at Mass General Hospital, Boston on May 16, 2023. She was the loving wife of David Souza. 

Born in Warwick, she was the daughter of Roger and Teofila (Rodriguez) Giarraputo.

Audria was a member of the first graduating class of Exeter-West Greenwich Regional High School in 1993. After High School, Audria attended both the Community College of Rhode Island and Rhode Island College. She was very proud of the time spent owning and operating East Greenwich Bridals with her mother Teo from 2008 to 2017. Her natural love and care for people translated into many of her bridal shop customers becoming lifelong friends. Audria also worked as Lab Technical Coordinator at Waters Corporation in Milford, Massachusetts.

Audria’s positive aura and energy was contagious. Even after beating cancer twice and battling illness throughout her entire life, Audria’s selflessness, optimistic perspective, and courage was a source of inspiration to all who met her. She truly will be remembered fondly as an avid animal lover and a shining example of a “good soul”. Audria possessed an amazing gift in researching resources that could improve her life, she never said no and never gave up. 

Besides her husband David and her parents Roger and Teo, Audria is survived by loving cousins and many extended members of family in the Republic of Panama. She is also survived by her adored Boxers(Caddie and ZZ), American BullDog (Gibson), and African Grey Parrot “Cosmo”. 

Family and friends are invited to celebrate Audria’s life on Saturday, May 27, 2023 from 12:00 PM (NOON) - 1:30 PM, with a Funeral Service to begin at 1:30 PM, in the Iannotti Funeral Home AT MAPLE ROOT, 2000 Nooseneck Hill Road (ROUTE 3), Coventry.

Nacida en Warwick, era hija de Roger y Teofila (Rodríguez) Giarraputo.

Audria fue miembro de la primera clase que se graduó de la escuela secundaria regional Exeter-West Greenwich en 1993. Después de la secundaria, Audria asistió tanto al Community College of Rhode Island como al Rhode Island College. Estaba muy orgullosa del tiempo que dedicó a ser propietaria y operar East Greenwich Bridals con su madre Teo de 2008 a 2017. Su amor y cuidado naturales por las personas se tradujeron en que muchos de los clientes de su tienda de novias se convirtieran en amigos para toda la vida. Audria también trabajó como coordinadora técnica de laboratorio en Waters Corporation en Milford, Massachusetts.

El aura positiva y la energía de Audria eran contagiosas. Incluso después de vencer el cáncer dos veces y luchar contra la enfermedad durante toda su vida, el desinterés, la perspectiva optimista y el coraje de Audria fueron una fuente de inspiración para todos los que la conocieron. Realmente será recordada con cariño como una ávida amante de los animales y un brillante ejemplo de un "alma buena". Audria poseía un don increíble para investigar recursos que podrían mejorar su vida, nunca dijo que no y nunca se rindió.

Además de su esposo David y sus padres Roger y Teo, a Audria le sobreviven primos amorosos y muchos miembros de la familia extendida en la República de Panamá. También le sobreviven sus adorados Boxers (Caddie y ZZ), American BullDog (Gibson) y African Grey Parrot "Cosmo".

Los familiares y amigos están invitados a celebrar la vida de Audria el sábado 27 de mayo de 2023 de 12:00 p. m. (mediodía) a 1:30 p. m., con un funeral que comenzará a la 1:30 p. m., en Iannotti Funeral Home AT MAPLE ROOT , 2000 Nooseneck Hill Road (RUTA 3), Coventry.
