BEAUDOIN, BARRY H., 64, of Williams Crossing Road, Coventry, passed peacefully at Kent Hospital on Sunday, February 21, 2021. He was the beloved husband of Cheryl Ann (Haruben) Beaudoin for 35 years. Born in Warwick, he was a son of the late Harold E. Beaudoin Sr. and the late Sharon L. (Groves) Beaudoin.
Barry graduated from Coventry High School in 1974. He went on to earn a Bachelor’s Degree from the University of Rhode Island in 1978. Barry was a Certified Insurance Counselor with the H.E. Beaudoin Insurance Agency in East Providence for over 40 years. Barry was a treasurer and a past president of the Johnson’s Pond Civic Association. He enjoyed many summer days with his family while living on the Pond. Barry also loved being out in nature and observing wildlife, farming, gardening, going to the beach, travelling, attending the Providence Performing Arts Center and Broadway shows in New York City. Barry loved spending time with his family and friends and he was always known to be “The life of the party”.
He was the father of Matthew B. Beaudoin, Christopher J. Beaudoin, and Amanda L. Beaudoin all of Coventry. Brother of Wayne D. Beaudoin (wife Robin) of Greene, Heidi L. Beaudoin of Vermont, Kim A. Lomastro of Greene (late husband Tony) and the late Harold E. “Hal” Beaudoin Jr. Barry was the son-in-law of the late Gerald and Beverly Haruben. He was the brother-in-law of Gerald J. Haruben (wife Laurie), George J. Haruben and Raymond J. Haruben; and the nephew of George and Janet Barnes. He was the uncle of Troy, Zachary, Adam Beaudoin, Kerri & Eric Fillion, Nicholas Lomastro, Courtney Beaudoin, Harold Beaudoin III, and Alexandra & Ivan Stanford.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be on Saturday, February 27, 2021 at 11:00 am in Saints John & Paul Church, 341 South Main St., Coventry. Face masks, social distance, limited seating must be observed. Due to Pandemic restrictions, interment at Saint Joseph Cemetery in West Greenwich will be private for the family. Visiting hours with Pandemic restrictions, will be on Friday evening from 4:00 pm to 8:00 pm in the Iannotti Funeral Home at MAPLE ROOT, 2000 Nooseneck Hill Rd., (Rte.3) Coventry.
