BEATRICE E. "BEA" (LACROIX) SALOIS

SALOIS, BEATRICE E.  “BEA” (LACROIX) 97, of Coventry, RI passed away with her loving family by her side, at Brookdale Centre of New England in Coventry on Tuesday, April 8, 2025. She was predeceased by her beloved husband of 68 years, Gerard L. “Jerry” Salois in 2016. Born in West Warwick, she was a daughter of the late Adelard and Graziella (Plouffe) Lacroix.

Beatrice was employed as a receptionist at the late Dr. Paul E. Barber’s office practice in West Warwick for over 25 years. Beatrice belonged to the Holy Ghost Society. Beatrice was a dedicated parishioner of St. Vincent de Paul Church where she sang in the choir for many years. Beatrice loved to sing, decorate, and work at her son’s garden center and greenhouses. 

She was the mother of  Steven G. Salois of Coventry, Ann Marie Wendling of Manchester, CT, Jeffrey P. Salois of Coventry, and the late Mark R. Salois. She was the grandmother of Janine, Christina, Hillary and the late Nadine and Matthew Salois. She was the sister of Paul Lacroix, PHD. of Coventry, Richard Lacroix of Florida, Edith Therrien of Coventry, and the late Herman Manuel Mello, Doris St. George, and Diane Dutilly. Beatrice is also survived by six great-grandchildren.

Visiting hours will be on Monday, April 14, 2025 from 9:00 am to 10:45 am, with a Funeral Service at 10:45 am in the Iannotti Funeral Home at MAPLE ROOT, 2000 Nooseneck Hill Rd.,(95/exit 18/Rte.3) Coventry. Interment at the RI Veterans Memorial Cemetery in Exeter.
