LEFOLEY, BERNARD L.,90, passed away peacefully on July 30, 2022 at Kent Regency, Warwick. Born in Providence, he was a son of the late John and Mary (Sheehan) Lefoley.


A proud and patriotic man, Bernard served his country in the United States Army, before being honorably discharged in 1954. He spent his career working for the State of Rhode Island, in the Department of Labor and Training. He enjoyed traveling, family gatherings, reading, and spirited debates on both local and national politics. 


Bernard was the brother of Francis Lefoley, and the late Joseph and Gerald Lefoley. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.


A visiting hour will be held Friday, August 5, 2022 from 9:30 AM - 10:30 AM in the Iannotti Funeral Home at MAPLE ROOT, 2000 Nooseneck Hill Rd. (RTE 3), Coventry. Bernard’s Mass of Christian Burial will follow at 11:00 AM in Saints John and Paul Church, 301 South Main St., Coventry. Burial with Military Funeral Honors at St. Joseph’s Cemetery, West Greenwich. In lieu of flowers, donations made in Bernard's memory to Saints John and Paul Church (341 South Main St., Coventry, RI 02816) would be appreciated.
