BERNARD LONGO
Obituary
LONGO, BERNARD, 89, of Nobile St., West Warwick, passed away at Kent Hospital on Monday, March 13, 2023. A lifelong resident of West Warwick, he was a son of the late Biagio and Ermenagilda “Gilda” (Santilli) Longo.
Bernard served his Country during the Korean War. After an honorable discharge, Bernard was employed in the jewelry manufacturing industry. He was a manager at Weingeroff Incorporated for over 20 years before retiring. Bernard was an avid sports fan, most notably the Boston Red Sox was his favorite team.
Bernard’s four children predeceased him. He is survived by several nieces and nephews and great-nieces and great-nephews. Bernard was the brother of the late Antonio, Jack, John, Joseph, Luigi, Vincent Long, Concetta King and Jennie Petrella.
Per Bernard’s request, committal services and interment in Notre Dame Cemetery in West Warwick will be private. Arrangements by the Iannotti Funeral Home in Coventry. iannottifh.com
