BERNARD SAROKA

SAROKA, BERNARD, 86, of Providence, passed away at home on Wednesday, May 27, 2026. Born in Providence, and a lifelong resident, he was a son of the late Stanley and Josephine E. (Rudzis) Saroka.

Bernard was a precision machinist employed at the A.T. Wall Company in Warwick for over 30 years before retiring in 2002. After retiring, Bernard enjoyed traveling, taking trips to the nearby casinos, especially Foxwoods, and attending many sporting events that his great-nephew E.J. Saroka participated. Throughout the years, Bernard cared for many cats that he always would name “Rocky”.

Bernard was the brother of the late Joseph A. Saroka, and his wife Maureen (Sweeney) Saroka of Providence. He was the uncle of Michael Saroka, Stephen Saroka and Christopher Saroka and his wife Cheryl. He is also survived by several great- nieces and great-nephews including E.J. Saroka.
