SHOOK, BRANDON J., 44, passed away unexpectedly on Thursday, January 30, 2025.
Brandon was first and foremost a father, but he was also a partner, a son, a brother, and a beloved friend. Brandon was a simple man with simple pleasures. Getting up early on many mornings to throw a cast or two on his way to work or before the day started.
He was a lifelong fan of Phish, and all things music. Brandon spent many nights over the years following his favorite band to concerts across New England. His love for music wasn’t just about the shows—it was about the community, the people, and the moments of pure joy that music brought him.
As a skilled Electrician and handyman, Brandon could fix just about anything, whether it was a broken toilet or a rickety fence. He was always lending a helping hand to his neighbors. When he wasn’t on a job you could almost always find him tinkering in his garage with his 2 littlest helpers learning the tricks of his trades.
Brandon is survived by his partner, Shannon Feeney, two sons Riley and Brody Shook, his parents Debra and Russell Shook, his sister Cassandra Feeney (preceded by Shawn Feeney) and his two nephews, Aidan and Nolan Feeney.
In the lyrics of “Joy” by Phish…
“We want you to be happy
Don't live inside the gloom”
Brandon would want that for all his friends and family during this tough time.
Rest easy, Brandon. May your soul continue to roam free, with Phish playing in the background and the world forever grateful for the love you shared.
Family and friends are invited to Visiting Hours on Saturday, February 8, 2025 from 11:00 AM - 1:00 PM in the Iannotti Funeral Home, 415 Washington Street (Route 117), Coventry, RI.
