MULVEY, BRIAN ALAN, 42, of Matteson Road, Scituate, passed away at home surrounded by his loving family and pets Clyde, Jerry, Lucille, Barney and Norma, on Saturday, May 27, 2023. Born in Warwick, he was a son of Paula (Kimball) Mulvey of Scituate and Daniel M. Mulvey and his wife Joanna Gonzalez-Mulvey of East Providence. Brian was the stepson of the late David Como.
Brian attended Scituate High School. While in Nursing School, Brian worked at Gregg’s Restaurant as a bartender and a server. He graduated from the Saint Joseph's Hospital School of Nursing in 2012. He went on to a rewarding career as a registered nurse, most recently, with the Beacon Hospice North Kingstown unit. Brian previously worked as a veterinary technician. He loved the companionship of his dogs, kayaking, and spending time with his many friends.
He was the brother of Christopher D. Mulvey (Stephanie) of Tennessee, and the stepbrother of Steven A. Como (Haley) of Scituate. He was the uncle of Colin and Isla Como. Brian was the nephew of Bruce and Pat Kimball, Jeffrey Kimball, David and Terry Mulvey.
Visiting hours are Tuesday evening, June 6, 2023 from 4:00 pm to 6:30 pm, with a Memorial Service at 6:30 pm in the Iannotti Funeral Home at MAPLE ROOT, 2000 Nooseneck Hill Road (Rte. 3), Coventry.
