BRUCE ALBERT TOURONY

TOURONY, BRUCE A., 64, of Park View Avenue, Warwick, passed away at the Hulitar Hospice in Providence, surrounded by his loving family on Friday, August 7, 2020. He was the husband of Antoinette M. “Toni” (Lima) Tourony for 34 years. Born in Providence, he was a son of the late Louis H. and Dolores M. “Dora” (Iannotti) Tourony.

Bruce graduated from Cranston High School East in 1974. He was a truck driver for over 30 years for New England Motor Freight before retiring in 2018. Bruce was a motorcycle drag racer, achieving much success at the various tracks in the Northeast. He enjoyed motorcycle and car collecting. He was a lifelong NY Giants football fan. Bruce was a popular DJ at the former Play Den night club in Providence.

He was the father of Joshua Lima and his wife Lucia and Fabian Lima all of Cumberland. Bruce was anticipating his first grandchild “Carmella”, soon to arrive. Bruce was the brother of Louis M. Tourony (Carol) of Cape Coral, Florida, Barry L. Tourony (Anita) of Cranston, and Sandra A. Branch – Dionne (Will) of Florida.
