CARMELA CACCHIOTTI Obituary

 


CACCHIOTTI, CARMELA V. (DeClemente), 87, of Warwick, RI and West Palm Beach, Florida, a devoted wife and mother, passed away surrounded by her loving family at the Wellington Regional Medical Center in Florida on Wednesday, April 19, 2023. She was the wife of John A. Cacchiotti for 64 years. Born in Providence, she was a daughter of the late Innocenzio and Filomena (Zelano) DeClemente.

Carmela was employed in the State of RI School Lunch program for many years, before moving on to employment as an itinerant secretary for the Cranston School Department.

Carmela was the mother of Jack Cacchiotti and his wife Valerie of North Kingstown, Gina M. Vigliotti and her husband David, and Alisa B. Cacchiotti, all of Warwick. Carmela was the sister of the late Angie Salvatore, Anthony, John, and Joseph DeClemente.

Her funeral will be Saturday, April 29, 2023 at 8:45 am from the IANNOTTI Funeral Home, 415 Washington St. (Rte.117), Coventry, with a Mass of Christian Burial at 10 am in St. Gregory the Great Church, 360 Cowesett Rd., Warwick. Interment at All Saints Cemetery in Warwick. Visiting hours are Friday evening from 3 pm to 8 pm. iannottifh.com
