CAROL M. MACHADO

MACHADO, CAROL M., 75, of West Warwick, passed away peacefully on Sunday, November 17, 2024 at the HopeHealth Hulitar Hospice Center, Providence. She was the loving wife of 59 years to Arthur Machado Sr.

Born in Providence, she was a daughter of the late Anthony and Mary (Saccoccia) Sepe. 

Always a woman of strong faith, Carol was a lifetime parishioner of Sacred Heart Church, West Warwick. She was a Catechism Teacher and Eurcharistic Minister. In her spare time, she enjoyed spending time with her friends, playing cards, and socializing. Above all, Carol loved cooking for her loved ones, and especially preparing large family meals on Sundays. Carol especially enjoyed the holidays and gathering all of her loved ones together. She will truly be missed.   

Carol was the loving mother of Mary Bourque, and her husband John, of Coventry, and Arthur Machado Jr., his wife Shawna, of West Warwick, and Richard Machado, and his wife Danielle, of Coventry. Grandmother of Crystal, Ashley, Richard Jr., Austin, Brandon (Victoria), Jasmin, Zackary, Stephanie, and the late Amber. Great grandmother of River and Albert. She was the sister of Diane M. Carlson, and her late husband, Marcus. Carol was loved and cherished by all of her family and friends.  

Carol’s funeral will be held Friday, November 22, 2024 at 8:45 AM in the Iannotti Funeral Home, 415 Washington Street (ROUTE 117), Coventry. Mass of Christian Burial at 10:00 AM in Sacred Heart Church, 820 Providence Street, West Warwick. Interment at St. Ann Cemetery, Cranston. Visiting Hours Thursday, November 21, 2024 from 4:00 PM - 7:00 PM.
