CAROL ANN (MANNING) SCALLON

SCALLON, CAROL A. (MANNING) age 84, of West Greenwich, passed peacefully at home surrounded by her loving family on Sunday evening, July 27, 2025. She was the wife of Eugene F. Scallon. The couple would have celebrated 66 years of marriage on September 19, 2025. 

Born in Providence, she was a daughter of the late John F. and Margaret (Leddy) Manning. She was the mother of Eugene F. Scallon of West Greenwich and Steven R. Scallon and his husband Kevin R. Murphy of Mattapoisett, MA. Carol was the grandmother of Sheri L. Scallon of Harrisville. Carol was the sister of the late Jean Cahoon, Margaret Branch and Dennis Manning.

Carol was a dedicated wife, mother and grandmother. She loved to care for her family, sew, crochet and tend to her gardens. She was employed for several years at Stanley-Bostitch in East Greenwich.

Visiting hours will be on Friday, August 1, 2025, from 9:30 am to 10:45 am in the Iannotti Funeral Home at MAPLE ROOT, 2000 Nooseneck Hill Rd. (I95/Exit 18/Rte.3) Coventry, with a Mass of Christian Burial at 11:15 am in Saints John & Paul Church. Interment at the RI Veterans Memorial Cemetery in Exeter.
