CECILE MARTIN Obituary

MARTIN, CECILE M. (Perreault), of Coventry, passed away peacefully at home on Monday, August 23, 2021. She was the beloved wife of the late Normand A. Martin.

 

Born in Woonsocket, she was a daughter of the late Aime and Donalda (Robillard) Perreault.

 

Cecile was a lifelong parishioner of St. Vincent de Paul Church, where she and her husband volunteered for many years. Above all things, Cecile enjoyed caring for her family, planting her flowers and cutting her grass. 

 

She was the loving mother of Roger Martin and his wife Suzanne, Russell Martin and his wife Sandra, Paulette Morey and her husband Wesley, Jacqueline Grace and her husband Brian, Ann Marie Stewart and her husband Patrick, and David Martin and his wife Wendy. Grandmother of 8, great-grandmother of 12. 


Her funeral will be Monday, August 30, 2021 at 9:00 AM from the Iannotti Funeral Home, 415 Washington St. (RTE 117), Coventry, with a Mass of Christian burial at 10:00 at St. Vincent de Paul Church, 6 St. Vincent de Paul St., Coventry. Burial at the Rhode Island Veterans Cemetery, Exeter. Visiting hours Sunday, 3:00 PM - 6:00 PM. In lieu of flowers, donations made in Cecile's name to the St. Vincent de Paul Society, 6 St. Vincent de Paul Street, Coventry, RI 02816 would be appreciated.
