CHARLES CHATTERLEY, SR. Obituary
CHATTERLEY SR., CHARLES N., 68, of Whaley Hollow Rd., Coventry, passed away at home, surrounded by his loving family, on Monday, July 27, 2020. He was the husband of Theresa M. (Parenteau) Chatterley. The couple have been married for 45 years. Born in Cranston, he was a son of the late Robert N. Chatterley Sr. and Flora (Brown) Chatterley.
Charles was employed as a test engineer at the formerly Tyco Flow Control Company in Cranston for 38 years before retiring in 2017. He enjoyed boating, scuba diving, playing pool, camping and also motorcycling. Charles was a lifetime member of the Coventry-West Greenwich Elks Lodge.
He was the father of Lisa M. Killeen and her husband Kenneth, Charles N. Chatterley Jr. and his wife Bethany, and Nathan D. Chatterley, all of Coventry. He was the grandfather of Maia Killeen, Lillian and Abigail Chatterley. Charles was the brother of Robert N. Chatterley Jr., Norman Chatterley, Ronald Chatterley, Corrine Card, and Lora Fidler. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
A Memorial gathering will held on Saturday, August 1, 2020 from 2:00 pm to 5:00 pm in the Iannotti Funeral Home at MAPLE ROOT, 2000 Nooseneck Hill Rd., (Rte.3) Coventry. iannottifh.com
