CHARLES D. CROSBY

CROSBY, Charles D., 87, of Sumner Brown Rd., passed away on Saturday, May 30, 2020 at Mount St. Rita Health Centre in Cumberland. He was the beloved husband of the late Janet F. (McCarthy) Crosby. 

Born in Providence, he was a son of the late Alexander W. and Agnes (Maillet) Crosby.  

He is survived by his children, Charles Crosby and his wife Mary of West Warwick, Donna Rachels and her husband Stephen of Exeter, Kevin Crosby of North Kingstown, the late Karen Newell and her husband Ed of Florida, Lori Crosby of East Providence, Steven Crosby and his wife Lori of West Warwick, Michael Crosby of Maryland and Julie Fritz and her husband Tom of Trumansburg, NY; 18 grandchildren and 6 great-grandchildren. He was a brother of the late Curtis and Leo Crosby, Isabelle Williams, Iona Cull, Ruth Parker and Virginia Vanta. 

Visitation will be held Thursday, June 4, 2020 from 10:30 – 11:45 am in the IANNOTTI Funeral Home, 415 Washington St. (Rte.117), Coventry with a Funeral Service to follow at 11:45 am. Interment with Military Honors in the Rhode Island Veterans Cemetery will be private for the family. In lieu of flowers, donations in Don’s name to Mount St. Rita Health Centre, 15 Sumner Brown Rd., Cumberland, RI 02864 would be appreciated.
