CHARLES CYR, JR. Obituary

CYR, JR. Charles J., 78, of Liena Rose Way, Coventry, passed at home with his loving family by his side on Sunday, August 29, 2021. He was the husband of Annette C. (Bergeron) Cyr for 56 years. Born in West Warwick, he was a son of the late Charles J. and Doris (Beauchaine) Cyr.

Charles graduated from West Warwick High School in 1961. He was employed in the warehouse at Hoechst-Celanese and later Clariant Corporation for 43 years before retiring in 2005. Charles enjoyed playing golf. However, he loved to spend time with his family, especially his five grandchildren.

He was the father of Sandra M. Peltier (James), Cathy L. Rivera (Mel), and Kelly A. Charlebois (Mike), all of Coventry. He was the grandfather of Nicholas Peltier, Jaryd Charlebois, Alesandra Rivera, Andrew Peltier and Carlie Rivera. Charles is also survived by his great-grandson Lourenzo. Charles was the brother of Gerard Cyr of Maine and Roger Cyr of Hope, RI.

Services will be private. Memorial donations to the Parkinson’s Foundation (www.parkinson.org) would be appreciated. Arrangements are with the Iannotti Funeral at MAPLE ROOT, 2000 Nooseneck Hill Rd. (Rte.3) in Coventry. iannottifh.com
