CHARLES R. "CHUCK" TRINKWALD

TRINKWALD, CHARLES R. “CHUCK” 61, of Field Avenue, West Warwick, passed away at Kent Hospital surrounded by his loving family, on Saturday, April 29, 2023. He was the husband of Lisa R. (Goodman) Trinkwald for 18 years. Born in Providence, he was a son of the late Alice M. (Nichols) Johnson and William Johnson and.

Chuck graduated from Coventry High School in 1979. He went on to employment as an autobody spray painter for many years at various body shops. Chuck was well known throughout Rhode Island for his expertise and perfection in his work.

In his spare time, Chuck loved to fish, watch football, dance, listen to all genres of music, spend time tinkering in his garage and maintaining his favorite motor vehicle, his 1978 Ford Bronco; and especially enjoying his backyard with firepit burning, music playing and hanging out with his family and friends.

He was the father of Charles R. Carpenter - Trinkwald (late Jackie), Jacob D.J. Carpenter-Trinkwald (Crystal), Riley C. Trinkwald (Kayla); step-father of Dana R. Dutra (Steven), Derek S. Goff, and Kyle D. Goff (Colleen). Chuck was the brother of Gina M. Trinkwald, Daniel E. Johnson and the late David W. Trinkwald. He was the grandfather of Marcus R. Carpenter-Trinkwald, the late Jared  L. Carpenter-Trinkwald, Natalie Trinkwald and the step-grandfather of Lila Riebe, Kayleigh Riebe, and Deanna Pina and also great-grandfather of two. Uncle to Matthew Richards, James Desalvo, Timothy Desalvo, and Brady Johnson.

A Celebration of Chuck’s life will be held on Friday, May 5, 2023 from 2 pm to 5 pm at the IANNOTTI Funeral Home, 415 Washington St. (Rte.117) Coventry.  iannottifh.com
