CHERYL C. DeCESARE

DeCESARE, CHERYL C., 66, passed away with her loving family by her side on Saturday, May 31, 2025 at Kent Hospital Warwick. She was the loving wife of Keith J. DeCesare.

Cheryl grew up in Pawtucket, RI and was a proud graduate of Tolman High School. She then moved to Coventry in the 1980s. Singing was a true gift that was given to Cheryl. She loved to show her natural born talent, singing at family gatherings and functions. Above all, anytime Cheryl was in the company of her loved ones, especially her grandchildren, was what she cherished most. 

Cheryl was the daughter of the late John and Claire (Gingras) Beland. Cheryl was the loving mother of Colin Black (Diane) of Ocala, Florida, Ashley Mizer (Kevin) of West Warwick, Rhode Island, Kelsey Kettle (Nicholas) of East Providence, Rhode Island and the late Melody Kettle; step mother of Michaela Hindle, Keith DeCesare Jr., and Ryan DeCesare. Adoring grandmother of Mia, Elijah, Helena, Carly, Cadence, Jordan, Daisy, Troy, Emily, and Lyla. Loving sister of Gregory Beland, Jackie Delange, Gail Peterson, and the late Roberta Hokanson.  

Family and friends are invited to a Celebration of Cheryl’s Life which will begin at 1:00 PM on Sunday, June 8, 2025 at “Club Jogues”, 184 Boston Street, Coventry, RI 02816. Burial is respectfully private. Arrangements by the Iannotti Funeral Home.
