CHRISTINE MARIE (GRAVEL) SPRAGUE

SPRAGUE, CHRISTINE M., “CHRIS” (GRAVEL), 71, of Sterling, Connecticut and formerly of Coventry, RI passed away at the Backus Urgent Care in Plainfield, on Friday evening, March 14, 2025. She was the beloved wife of 47 years to Michael G. Sprague. The couple were married on July 9, 1977. Born in Woonsocket, she was a daughter of the late Eugene and Gloria (Berube) Gravel.

Christine graduated from Coventry High School, class of 1971. She was employed for over 30 years as a lab assistant for Ethide Laboratories in West Warwick before retiring. Christine loved to spend time with her family, care for animals, listen to music, play cards, yahtzee, dominos, create arts & crafts, and decorate and care for her home.

She was the dear mother of Danielle L. Paolino and her husband Michael, and Nicholas M. Sprague and his wife Christen Silvia, all of Warwick. Christine was the adoring grandmother of Sarah J. Paolino, Sidney Silvia and Haven Sprague. Christine was the sister of Frances St.Germain of West Warwick, Timothy Gravel of Woonsocket, and the late Louise Badessa.

Visiting hours are Friday morning, March 21, 2025 from 8:30 am - 10:15 am in the Iannotti Funeral Home at MAPLE ROOT, 2000 Nooseneck Hill Rd.,(95/exit 18/Rte.3) Coventry, with a Mass of Christian Burial 11 am in Saints John & Paul Church. Interment at Saint Joseph Cemetery, West Greenwich. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations to the Vintage Pet Rescue, P.O.
