CHRISTOPHER HULTING Obituary

HULTING, CHRISTOPHER N., 60, of Cranston, transitioned into Glory on Friday, March 15, 2024. He was the beloved husband of 25 years to Judy A. (Squadrito) Hulting and the father of Alicia (Hulting) Richards and her husband Timothy of Plainville, MA. Born at Otis Air Force Base in Bourne, Massachusetts, he was a son of the late Richard A. and Kimi (Watanabe) Hulting. He appreciated that his heritage was unique and he was proud of it.

After graduating from Coventry High School in 1982, Christopher went on to earn an Associate’s Degree from New England Technical School. Christopher worked for over 25 years as a Materials Handler for National Grid in Brockton, MA., before becoming disabled. Christopher also briefly served in the U.S. Air Force from 1983 to 1986.

Chris had a strong, unwavering Christian faith.  He was a faithful man of God, who loved the Lord and carried this love in embracing his love of life.  He never faltered with his love of his wife and his family. Chris's presence always exuded warmth and happiness. He was the gentlest, sweetest soul.  He never hesitated to greet you with a smile and a warm embrace.  Even strangers gravitated toward him to just wave or say hello.  His aura of kindness was felt wherever he went.

Married life with Chris was an adventure spent together growing in our faith, praising the Lord, and extending our love, grace, and joy to others. We enjoyed traveling and attending Christian gatherings. We also spent time together riding bikes, going to the beach, attending festivals and Christian music events. Chris was always eager and ready to enjoy life, compatible and always agreeable to any uplifting and creative ideas we came up with.

Another one of Chris's favorite things was food.  He had so many favorites, it's hard to name one.  But a good meal never went unappreciated and he smiled and always felt blessed when he indulged, and he never forgot to be thankful for that.

Life spent with Chris was nothing short of a blessing.  He was a special, unique individual, who shared himself with the world and wanted to love everything and everyone from the bottom of his heart.  When God made Chris he created a special soul made of dignity, kind heartedness, and a cooperative spirit always ready to help others.
