Obituary
ENOS, CLAIRE A., 94, of Hill Street, Coventry, passed away at the Kent Regency Center on Wednesday, May 17, 2023. She was the wife of the late Antonio J. Enos Jr. Born in West Warwick, she was a daughter of the late Jean A. and Yvonne F. (Blanchette) Degraide.
Claire was employed as a supervisor at the former Artistic Lace mill for over 25 years before retiring. Claire was a dedicated parishioner at Our Lady of Good Counsel for 70 years. Claire enjoyed gardening and maintaining her home.
She is survived by her son Michael A. Enos and his wife Janet of Cranston; granddaughters Nicole M. McMahon and her husband Michael and Jaimee L. Kress and her husband William; brother Henry Degraide of Coventry; and several nieces, nephews, great-nieces and great-nephews. Claire was the sister of the late Lucy Cournoyer, Maurice Degraide, and Jean Degraide.
Her funeral will be Tuesday, May 23, 2023 at 9 am from the IANNOTTI Funeral Home, 415 Washington St. (Rte.117) Coventry, with a Mass of Christian Burial at 10 am in Our Lady of Good Counsel Church. Interment at the RI Veterans Memorial Cemetery in Exeter. Visiting hours are Monday evening from 5 pm to 7 pm. iannottifh.com
