BERON, CONNIE (MARSOCCI), 86, passed away surrounded by her loving family at the Hope Health Hospice in Providence, on Saturday, July 18, 2020. She was predeceased by her husband of 62 years Milton E. Beron in 2017. Born in West Warwick, she was a daughter of the late Samuele and Gelsomina (Farinaro) Marsocci. Connie was the mother of Timothy E. Beron and his wife Synda of North Kingstown, Paul J. Beron of Coventry, and David J. Beron of Burrillville. Connie is also survived by five grandchildren, four great-grandchildren and many nieces and nephews. She was the sister of the late Hugo, Joseph, Lucio, Olindo, Samuel Marsocci, Angie Furia, and Olga Parente.
Connie was employed as a waitress for 30 years at her family’s restaurant, the Miss Cranston Diner. She was an avid bowler. She was a fantastic cook, hosting many holiday family gatherings. Her recipes are legendary. She was a prolific knitter and crocheter, and she was always a willing and patient teacher to those looking to learn the craft. One of her proudest achievements was serving as a volunteer for Meals-on Wheels for over ten years.
A Memorial gathering for relatives and close friends will be Saturday, July 25, 2020, from 2 - 4 pm in the Iannotti Funeral Home at MAPLE ROOT, 2000 Nooseneck Hill Rd., (Rte.3) Coventry.
