DANIEL J. DEMERS

DEMERS, DANIEL J., 44, of North Kingstown, passed away on Friday, January 30, 2026 at Rhode Island Hospital, Providence. Born in Warwick, Daniel was a son of Maria (Toni)  A. (Cinotti) Demers and the late Larry E. Demers.

After graduating from Coventry High School, Daniel earned two Degrees in Florida before he ultimately earned his Doctorate of Pharmacy from Massachusetts College of Pharmacy and Health Sciences in Worcester, MA. Having always been a dedicated and hard worker, Daniel was a Pharmacist at Rhode Island Hospital, where he specialized in the Cancer Department for many years. 

In his free time, Daniel enjoyed travelling the world. He was a lifelong fan of all sports, but especially the New England Patriots, Boston Red Sox, and the Boston Bruins.  

Daniel was the brother of Larry E. Demers Jr., and his wife Renata, of Florida. Uncle to Giovanni Demers and Keven Cardoso. Stepson to Jean Demers. Daniel is also survived by his loving companion of five years, Jamie Long, and his dear stepfather, Richard Powell. 

Daniel’s Mass of Christian Burial will be held Thursday, February 5, 2026 at 11:00 AM in Saints John & Paul Church, 341 South Main Street, Coventry. Burial will follow at St. Joseph Cemetery, West Greenwich. Arrangements by the Iannotti Funeral Home.
