BOULANGER, DAVID A., 49, of Centennial Street, Coventry, passed away at Kent Hospital, after being stricken at home on Friday, February 9, 2024. He was the husband of Alicia B. (Gamache) Boulanger; and the father of twins Lauren E. and Emma L. Boulanger, Julie M. Boulanger, Sarah R. Boulanger and Courtney J. Boulanger. Born in Pawtucket, he was the son of Jean A. Boulanger, Esq. and Janice M. (Pelletier) Boulanger of Coventry. David was the brother of Denise M. (Boulanger) Townsend and her husband Heath of New Bern, NC. David is also survived by ten nieces and nephews.
After graduating from Coventry High School in 1992, David went on to earn a degree in Chemical Engineering from the Worcester Polytechnic Institute. David was currently employed as a software engineer for Discover Technology International Inc.
As a child, David would enjoy spending Summers at Camp Ker-Anna in Cumberland, a multigenerational Catholic summer camp operated mainly by volunteers, established in 1937. David dedicated many years volunteering at the camp in many capacities including program director, corporation member, and cook.
David enjoyed playing trivia games, all things Star Wars, and above all, spending time with his family and friends.
His Funeral will be Saturday, February 17, at 10 am from the Iannotti Funeral Home at MAPLE ROOT, 2000 Nooseneck Hill Rd.,(95/exit 18/Rte.3) Coventry, with a Concelebrated Mass of Christian Burial at 11 am in Saints John & Paul Church. Visiting hours are Friday from 4 pm to 7 pm.
