DAVID CHARLES FERA

FERA, DAVID C., 63, of Lockwood Street, West Warwick, passed unexpectedly on Wednesday, September 8, 2021. He was the beloved husband of Brenda A. (Cunningham) Fera. Born in Warwick, he was a son of Domenic A. Fera of West Warwick and the late Ruth M. (Frates) Roy. He was a stepson of the late Donald R. Roy.

David graduated from West Warwick High School in 1975. He went on to earn an Associate’s Degree from the Community College of Rhode Island. David was employed for over 26 years in the West Warwick School Department, retiring as a Supervisor. He previously worked at Kent Hospital in the Security Department for 10 years. He had also been a Teacher’s Assistant for several years in the West Warwick School System. David enjoyed working out and living a healthy lifestyle.

David was the adoring father of Kimberly A. Leduc and her husband Daniel of West Warwick, and the proud grandfather or “Papa” of Nicholas Leduc. David is also survived by his sister Anne Marie Harrold and her husband Peter of West Warwick. David was the uncle of Christina Fera, Melissa DaSilva, Matthew and Rebecca Santille; and the great-uncle to Olivia Rose, Jameson, Savannah Rose and Matthew Jr. David was the brother of the late Douglas P. Fera.

Relatives and friends are invited to a Mass of Christian Burial for David on Tuesday, September 14, 2021 at 10 am at Saint Gregory the Great Church 360 Cowesett Rd., Warwick. Interment in Notre Dame Cemetery in West Warwick will be private. Arrangements are the Iannotti Funeral at MAPLE ROOT, 2000 Nooseneck Hill Rd. (Rte.3) in Coventry.
