DAWN FOX Obituary

FOX, DAWN M., 67, passed away with her loving family by her side on Tuesday, March 4, 2025 at Bayview Rehabilitation at Scalabrini, North Kingstown. She was the beloved wife of Douglas Fox for nearly 20 years.

Born in Providence, she was a daughter of Joseph and Adrienne (Pagliarini) Adamo.

She was the loving mother of Michael Maynard, his partner Nicole Albuquerque, and Kaitlin Brady, her husband Kevin; Step mother of Ashley Terpening, her husband Paul, and Andrew Fox. Loving Noni (grandmother) of Logan, Everett, Grant, Colin, Chloe, Amelia, and Adalyn.

Dawn is also survived by her loving brothers, Michael Adamo, his wife Anne, and Stephen Adamo, his wife Susan.

A woman of extraordinary warmth, generosity, and creativity, Dawn found joy in the simple pleasures of life. She had a deep love for knitting, creating beautiful, hand-crafted pieces that were cherished by all who received them. Her hands were always busy, whether it was knitting a hat for a loved one or offering a helping hand to a friend. Her love of family was at the heart of everything she did, and she devoted herself wholeheartedly to those she loved. Above all, her grandchildren were the light of her life, and she found boundless joy in their laughter and growth.

Dawn was an avid supporter of the arts, especially music and theater. She could often be found attending concerts, musicals, and plays, embracing the magic of performance with enthusiasm and joy. Her love of the arts was not just a hobby, but a way of life, and she encouraged others to explore the beauty and joy of creative expression.

A true fan of New England sports, Dawn was always rooting for her teams, proudly cheering on the Red Sox, Patriots, Celtics, and Bruins, and sharing the highs and lows of each season with her friends and family.

In her free time, Dawn found peace and contentment on Cape Cod and Martha’s Vineyard. Whether strolling along the beach, enjoying the tranquil beauty of the surroundings, or simply savoring a quiet moment with loved ones, these places were close to her heart.

Dawn’s legacy will live on in the love and joy she gave to those around her. She will be dearly missed by her family, friends, and all who had the privilege of knowing her.

In honor of her love of knitting we encourage any knitters to bring a knitting project to work on during the services.
